SAFEHOUSE MUSIC IMPROVISATION SESSION …a spontaneous music making-session. All forms of noise making welcome . SAFEHOUSE is a monthly music session for people interested in spontaneous group playing. We welcome all musicians and performers to come and take part. Groups of 3 or 4 participants will be picked out of a hat and invited to play together for 10 minute slots. No prior experience of improvising is necessary, just an interest in collective sound making. Conventional rules of rhythm, tonality and structure can be followed, bent or broken in order to create an open sonic dialogue with our fellow players 2025 remaining dates, Sundays1:00-4:30pm Jun 15 / Jul 20 / Aug 17 / Sep 21 / Oct 19 / Nov 16 / Dec 14.
LEWKULELE is open to anyone who can – or would like to – strum a ukulele. Absolute beginners welcome. Smiles guaranteed. Mondays from 7.15 to 9.15pm (term time only). £3 weekly (free taster).
PARKING… The nearby Westgate car park has now reopened, its fairly small, so if full, we recommend using the large car park at County Hall which is free at night for public use. More details in the Q&A section of the website.
GIG TICKETS – Unfortunately, for various reasons gigs still get cancelled/rescheduled. All previously purchased tickets will be valid for any re-arranged dates and refunds given should the new date not be suitable. When a gig is cancelled or rescheduled your ticket seller will email you with options, these may go to your spam folder? If you still haven’t got an email, then please respond to the ticket seller through your initial confirmation email.
